The matt concept works well with interconnected spaces – internal + external. The linear structure of the children's street together with open courtyards created a rich tapestry of spaces and experiences.

The connections (visual and atmospheric) that the project makes with the different programmes are very strong. As unitary volume it becomes a powerful piece in the landscape, dynamically interacting with the running track. The overall atmosphere is at the same time urban and energetic.

This project shows a sensitive restoration to existing rooms. The small extension in brick was nicely placed and the use of brick, ceramic is powerful.
